Device separating lining from material strip

The device is designed to separate a lining from one face of a strip or slab of light deformable material, using a conveyor belt of gas-permeable material to feed the strip lining-down to a band saw. A suction-generator holds the strip on the belt and the band saw extends for the full width of the belt. In addition the band is parallel to the belt and makes the cut at a point where the strip is still under the influence of the suction-generator. Discs, wheels or rollers serving to hold the strip down may be sited downstream of the saw together with a blade. A second suction generator may be sited upstream and the position of the saw may be adjustable.
