PURPOSE:To obtain a pleasant and excellent listening state over a wide range by arranging four speakers at the front and rear direction of center listening position and adjusting the ratio of signal level applied to the speakers. CONSTITUTION:The sound field forming device is provided with a sound signal supply circuit 1 and four nondirectional speakers 2-5 supplied with a stereo sound signal from this sound signal supply circuit 1. Left stereo sound signal and right stereo sound signal are applied repsectively with a substantially identical level to the speakers 2 and 3, and a signal inverting the phase of the right stereo sound signal and the left stereo sound signal are applied to the speaker 4 with a substantially identical level, and a signal inverting the phase of the left stero sound signal and the right stereo sound signal are applied to the speaker 5 with substantially an identical level. The ratio of the level of the signals applied to the speakers 2, 3 to the level of the signals applied to the speakers 4, 5 is constituted adjustably. |
