摘要 PURPOSE:To execute a density measurement with high accuracy by a lightweight and small-sized device by irradiating the X-rays emitted from two kinds of X- ray exciting targets to rotatable measuring liquid vessel, detecting the X-rays which pass through its vessel and do not pass through it, and operating its detecting signal. CONSTITUTION:gamma radiated from an exciting ray source 105 irradiates targets Nb 103 and Mo 104. Characteristic X-rays radiated from the targets 103, 104 pass through X-ray lead-out ports 106A, 106B, respectively, transmit through a measuring liquid vessel 109, and are made incident to X-ray detectors 117, 118 through holes 111A, 111B and incident windows 119A, 119B. On the other hand, when the vessel 109 is rotated to a position of an alternate long and two short dash line, the characteristic X-rays from the targets 103, 104 do not pass through the vessel 109 but are made incident to the detectors 117, 118. Output signals of the detectors 117, 118 are operated by a computer 122 through a measuring circuit part 121, and the density of a radioactive element in a measuring liquid is measured with high accuracy.
