<p>PURPOSE:To stably and certainly judge the quality of an anode, by measuring the single weight and thickness of said anode held under a horizontal condition, and excluding it if the measured values are disqualified beyond the predetermined boundary of the criterion. CONSTITUTION:Anodes A carried one by one under a horizontally supported condition by a conveyer WC are pressed by a press means P in the step of reforming bends. Then, the maximum thickness of the anode A is measured by a thickness gage 2. If said maximum thickness is disqualified beyond the predetermined boundary of the standard, said anode A is judged as an inferior one with respect to its thickness. When the anode A is further carried to a predetermined position above a means 3 for measuring single weight, its location is detected by a detecter 1 comprising a light projector 1a and a light acceptor 1b. Its single weight is measured by the means 3 for measuring single weight. If the measured value is beyond the boundary of the criterion, said anode is judged as inferior. The anodes judged as inferior with respect to the thickness and single weight are excluded onto the turning stand of a turning machine 11 by a pusher 10.</p> |
