The arrangement is for applying a thread bent into a curve (7) to a plate, partic. to a plate forming part of a box. In the arrangement, grooves (10) are formed at the plate edge (1c), in which the thread is inserted so as to protrude at the ends and also beyond the edge. The protruding portions are bent over through a right angle. - The thread is bent into an undulating shape between two cam plates and then thrust off them by a punch into the grooves. The cam plates (1,2,3) are joined together by bending the protruding thread portions (7b,7d) over into grooves in adjacent plates.(1) |
