PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetic core with high mechanical strength, high performance and stable quality by winding or laminating an amorphous magnetic material on a metal bobbin. CONSTITUTION:Al alloy is processed by a press into a bobbin whose thickness is 0.2mm.. An amorphous material ribbon, which is composed of Co-base material with a magnetostriction of almost zero and whose thickness is 20mum, is wound on the bobbin and subjected to magnetic annealing at 250-350 deg.C. With this process, the excellent characteristics such as Hc=0.010Oe and B10=9.5kG can be obtained and the effective cross sectional area is improved by approximately 40% as compared to a conventional phenol resin type magnetic core. |
