The invention involves a chair with an a folding back-rest (17) revolving around and extending below an axis of oscillation (19) with an arm (18a) which supports the rear end of the seating frame (22). When the back-rest is pulled backwards the seating frame is pushed forwards with regards to the axis of oscillation. According to the invention a seat cushion (36) is loosely laid on a sliding plate (38) attached to the seating frame. The seat cushion's back end is through linking arms (39) attached to the chair's frame (10, 15), which results in the seat cushion lying stationary relative to the axis of oscillation when the seat frame is pushed forward. As a result the back of the person seated is prevented from gliding down the back-rest when the seat frame is pushed forward.<IMAGE> |
