PURPOSE:To improve reliability and maintenance ability by keeping surely the mode to either the in-use state or the standby state even if the open connection of a confounding cable between duplex devices takes place. CONSTITUTION:When there exists an open connection in the confounding cable 10A, a system switching signal line 11A and a confounding cable state link line 12A go both from an L level to an H level. Since there exists a time difference of an open connection from each connector, the state change in the signal line 11A is delayed more than the state change of the link line 12A by a delay circuit 22B and transmitted to a state control circuit 21B. Then, the circuit 21B discriminates the open connection of the confounding cable depending on the state change in the link line 12A and executes a prescribed processing so as to inhibit the own state change, allowing both the deplex devices 20A, 20B to be prevented from reaching the same state. |
