PURPOSE:To copy an original picture as well as an interrupting picture on a copy paper by providing a picture display means, which displays a pictue independent of the original, and an interrupting means which interrupts the optical path, through which the image of the original is projected, with another optical path. CONSTITUTION:An image from a left end (a) to a right end (c) of an original 2 is projected onto a photosensitive drum 10 through the first optical path, which is surrounded with segments aa' and cc', by a focusing lens 8. When the picuture of a picture display device 13 is copied, a mirror 15 is moved to interrupt the first optical path with another optical system, namely, the second optical path passing an illumination lamp 14, a condenser lens 17, the picture display device 13, the mirror 15, the focusing lens 8, and the photosensitive drum 10 from the side of the segment aa'. As the result, the part surrounded with segments aa' and bb' does not trasnmit the image of the original 2, and the part from a point b' to a point c' of the image of the original 2 and the part from a point a' to the point b' of the image of the picture of the device 13 are synthesized and formed on the photosensitive drum 10. When the copying operation is started, the first and the second moving optical bodies are moved to scan the original 2, and the device 13 is scanned with movement of the optical body 11. |
