PURPOSE:To reduce the size of a device by driving a platen upward and downward synchronously with the movement of a movable mirror which forms an original image on a photosensitive body. CONSTITUTION:The platen 1 mounts an original, a driving means consists of the 1st and the 2nd racks 14 and 21 and the 1st and the 2nd pinions 15 and 22 which drive the platen 1 upward and downward at the same speed, and a movable mirror 20 is driven synchronously with the movement of the platen 1, at the same speed with them, and in parallel to the surface of the platen 1. Then, an optical system forms an image of light which is emitted from the surface of the original and reflected by the movable mirror 20 on the surface of the photosensitive body 8. This optical system consists of a condenser lens 6, fixed mirror 31, and the movable mirror 20. |
