PURPOSE:To eliminate a shift between a roller body and an elastic surface layer and improve fixing performance by providing the roller body, elastic surface layer which is attachable to and detachable from the roller body, and an engagement part which engages the roller body and elastic surface layer mutually. CONSTITUTION:The roller body 30 is a hollow mandrel having flanges 17 and 18 at both ends and has four linear grooves 31, 32, 33, and 34 to the overall length of the roller surface as engagement parts. The surface layer 40 has four linear projection streaks 41, 42, 43, and 44 as engagement parts to the overall length of the inner circumferential surface, and those four projection streaks engage the four grooves of the roller body 30 to couple the both together in one body. Further, the roller body 30 has annular grooves 31a, 32a, and 33a in the surface and annular projection surfaces 41a, 42a, and 43a are provided on the internal surface of the surface layer 40; and those grooves and projection surfaces engage each other to couple the both with each other in one body. Thus, the shift between the main body and surface layer is eliminated to improve the fixing performance. |
