PURPOSE:To realize inexpensively monitor connection from a remote location by transmitting trunk information to be monitored required for monitor connection to an exchange so as to use in common a relay line to receive a subscriber number from the exchange and a relay line for monitoring voice. CONSTITUTION:When a monitor request is given to a trunk 3 to be monitored, a start signal is transmitted from a monitor board 6 to a trunk 7. When an exchange detects the start signal, the exchange connects the trunk 7 with an MF receiver 8 via a signal transfer path 11. The board 6 transmits a circuit number of the trunk 3 to the MF receiver 8. The exchange opens the said bus 11 and closes a path 12 for an MF outgoing sender 9 and the trunk 7. The exchange retrieves a telephone number of an outgoing subscriber and an incoming subscriber using the circuit number of the trunk to be monitored from the said number received by the MF receiver 8 in the processing above and gives a command to the MF outgoing sender 9 for the transmission of the retrieved number to the board 6. The board 6 receives this number and informs it as the information required for the monitor service. When the transmission of information is finished, the exchange opens the path 12 and selects a three-party speech trunk 5, and connects the paths 13, 14 and 15. Thus, the monitor connection is completed. |
