PURPOSE:To enable to dispose both large size matters to be disposed and wastes such as sludge and the like simultaneously in the same incinerator by a structure wherein guide plate for transferring matters to be disposed and a rotary spiral vane are provided. CONSTITUTION:Large size wastes are fed from a supply port 3 to the peripheral part of a rotary hearth 5 and incinerated while being rotatingly transferred together with the rotary hearth. At the early stage of burning process, matters to be disposed are shifted in the central direction of the hearth by means of guide plates 20 and 20' arranged at positions near the peripheral part above the rotary hearth 5. When a step, in which the crushing of the matters to be disposed becomes possible, has reached, the matters to be disposed are further shifted in the central direction of the hearth while being crushed and at the same time stirred by means of a rotary spiral vane 17 installed at the inner portion of the rotary hearth. Thus, both the matters to be disposed, which are difficult to be crushed and to stir, and the matters to be disposed such as sludge and the like can be simultaneously disposed by incineration in a single incinerator.
