USE:A synthetic intermediate of physiologically active substances bearing fluoroalkyl groups. PREPARATION:The reaction of a fluoroester of the formula: RfCH2COOR' with a silylating agent of the formula: (R)3SiOTf (Tf is trifluoromethanesulfonyl) is effected to give the objective compound.
