<p>PURPOSE:To provide a deodorizing apparatus capable of efficiently and sanitarily performing the exchange of activated carbon within a short time, constituted by arranging a plurality of activated carbon received containers on the placing table provided in parallel relation to the floor surface of a deodorizing chamber having an introducing port and an exhaust port respectively provided to the lower part and the upper part thereof. CONSTITUTION:A placing table 11 constituted by assembling L-shaped steel in a grating form is provided in a deodorizing chamber 10 made of a steel plate having a gas introducing port 43 and a gas exhaust port in parallel relation to the floor surface thereof and a plurality of activated carbon received containers 13 each of which has a rectangular parallel piped shape, a metal net provided to the bottom surface thereof and an open upper surface are arranged on said table 1 while malodorous gas is introduced from the above mentioned gas introducing port 43 to perform deodorizing. In exchanging activated carbon, a worker enters the maintenance space 14 formed by boardings 18, 19, 20 in the deodorizing chamber 10 and successively takes out the activated carbon containers 13 each provided with hanging-up metal fittings 13C by using a transfer mechanism consisting of I-shaped steels 22, 23, 25 parallelly provided to the ceiling 10a, hand carriers 24, 26 and a chain block 27.</p> |
