发明名称 METHOD FOR MEASURING LEVEL OF CONTENT IN CONTAINER
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a method for measuring the level of content in a container, which can be readily monitored in a concentrated manner from a remote site, by guiding a light beam to a light receiving part provided at the lower part of the container by a plurality of half mirrors, which are provided at the lower part of the inner wall of the container at an appropriate interval; and detecting the presence or absence of the transmitted light at each half mirror and the received light at a light receiving part and their positions. CONSTITUTION:A light beam is projected from a light emitting part 10 into a vacant tank 1 and reflected by a plurality of half mirrors 20a-20d. A part of said light beam is sent to a light receiving part 30, which is provided at the lower part of the tank 1. Thus a light path is formed in the space in the tank 1. The part of the light beam, which has reached the light receiving part 30, is sent to a light detecting part 50 through an optical fiber 40b. Parts of the light beam are transmitted through the half mirrors 20a-20d and sent to the detecting part 50 through an optical fiber 40a. Thus the other light paths are formed. The light signals are converted into an electric signal by the detecting part 50, and a liquid level 2a is displayed by a display part 60. Therefore, the device is highly resistive to mechanical vibration and shock and mechanical play is eliminated. Fluctuation of the liquid level 2a is sensitively detected, and the concentrated monitoring at the remote position can be readily performed in this level measurement.
