In the device, which has a bolt (1) as base body, the connecting wire (11) for the transducer (8), the transducer (8) itself and the optical fibre (15) fixed in a guide sleeve (14) are arranged along the longitudinal axis of the device in order to realise an elongated design. Fastening the guide sleeve (14), which is performed by soldering, is undertaken while simultaneously adjusting the optical fibre (15) with respect to the light-emitting transducer (8). Consequently, the support parts for the transducer (8) and guide sleeve (14) are arranged at a distance from one another, in order largely to separate the thermal flux paths. The support parts of the guide sleeve (14) and transducer (8) consist in each case of an angle (22, 23), of which in each case one limb (24, 25) is fastened to the end face (4) of the bolt. Soldering electrodes through which a coolant flows on both sides of the appropriate support parts are applied for the purpose of soldering on the guide sleeve (14) so that the support part lies in the current passage. <IMAGE>
