PURPOSE:To enable the fermentation in a fermentation tank with low energy consumption in high efficiency, by extracting a part of the liquid in the fermentation tank, dissolving oxygen in the extracted liquid, and returning the oxygen- enriched liquid to the fermentation tank. CONSTITUTION:The titled apparatus contains the gas-tight fermentation tank 1 containing a cultivation liquid added with microorganisms, and the oxygen dissolution mechanism 4 to extract the liquid in the tank 1 from the part near the liquid surface, dissolve oxygen in the liquid, and return the oxygen-enriched liquid to the bottom part of the tank 1. The mechanism 4 is furnished with the bubbler 43 to receive the liquid extracted from the tank 1 and to blow oxygen- rich gas in the liquid, the settler 44 to receive the liquid run over the brim of the bubbler 43 and to send the liquid to the bottom of the tank 1 after separating bubbles therefrom, and the gas-circulation paths 7-11, 13 to separate the mist from the gas separated from the liquid in the bubbler 43 and the settler 44, to replenish the gas with fresh oxygen-rich gas and to supply the gas to the bubbler 43.
