PURPOSE:To obtain an ink jet printer using electron beam as a heat energy source for a driver by a method in which electron beam is projected to an electron-permeable material set close to an ink storage and ink small droplets are discharged from the ink storage. CONSTITUTION:The thin film 31 of an enert and high-strength substance having small atomic number is formed on the upside of a base plate 33 by CVD, and a part of the base plate 33 is removed by etching to form a window 37. A print head 35 is connected to the surface 39 of a Braun tube in such a way that the windows 37 are aligned with a groove 41 in the Braun tube 43. When the film 31 is turned toward the Braun tube side and the base plate 33 is placed on the outside, the window assembly can be anodically connected to the surface by using another aluminium layer.
