PURPOSE:To eliminate thoroughly the entire abnormality by displaying the abnormality which is not corrected when the abnormality arises at >=2 points and even if the abnormality in the displayed part is corrected and the corresponding nonvolatile memory is erased. CONSTITUTION:The number corresponding to an abnormal signal is written into and read and erased from the addresses of a nonvolatile memory 54 which are numbered in consecutive order of the higher priority in accordance with the instruction of the abnormality detection mode from an ROM52. If >=2 abnormal states are stored in the memory 54, the abnormality having the highest priority is displayed and even if the abnormal state and the abnormal display are erased by an erasing operation, the abnormal state of the second priority is displayed on a one-segment display device 29 for the number of copying sheet and therefore all the abnormal states generated in the copying machine are corrected by repeating the erasing operation. |
