The invention relates to a tongue of points for a trough-shaped travel way for wheeled vehicles with wheel flange-less lateral guidance, which way consists of a horizontal travel surface and laterally arranged vertical guide boards. Such points frequently have in the points region lowerable guide boards which can, according to requirements, be lowered into slots or moved out of these into operating position. For the tongue region, in which the problem exists that the lowerable guide boards collide with the rigidly mounted guide boards, the invention offers a simple and economical solution.
