STABILIZER COMPOSITIONS AND POLYMERS CONTAINING SAME

Compositions which are effective in stabilizing polymers against the deteriorative effects of heat are provided comprising 1) a mono-organotin compound or mixture of mono-organotin compounds, 2) a mercaptancontaining organic compound or mixture of mercaptancontaining organic compounds, and, optionally 3) a diorganotin compound or mixture of diorganotin compounds. Also provided are polymer compositions containing said stabilizers and articles of manufacture made from said stabilized polymer compositions.
