PURPOSE:To obtain a knob device having a simple constitution with simple assembly by incorporating a knob having a center shaft and a circumferential wall slidably with pressure and rotatably into a substrate containing a projected bearing boss and a cylindrical guide part via a coil spring. CONSTITUTION:When a knob 20 is pressed, a circumferential wall 22 is guided by a guide part 18 of a substrate part 16 and slides downward while compressing a coil spring 24. The wall 22 moves down until its lower edge reaches the upper surface of the part 16. When the pressing force is released, the knob 20 is reset to the upper part with the accumulated force of the spring 24. When the knob 20 is turned from its neutral position, the knob is twisted and bent in the turning direction. When the revolving force is released under such conditions, the knob 20 is reset to its neutral position by the elastic force of the spring 24 working in its winding direction. |
