PURPOSE:To improve the productivity by varying the relative position of the axial core of a core winding drum and the first slot punching point on a line for connecting both, and expanding the interval between a plurality of the preset slot punching points, thereby holding high accuracy, reducing the number of punchings and shortening the punching time. CONSTITUTION:The end of a steel plate hoop material 7 is wound on and engaged with a winding drum 2, the drum 2 is rotated by an indexing board in a direction of an arrow to intermittently operate in eight equal segments of a circumference. The first and second slot punching punches 5, 6 are moved down to form slots when the intermittent operations are stopped. The interval (l) of the punches 5, 6 is determined by an equation I to the radius (r) of the drum 2 at the start of winding, the position of the second punching punch 6 is moved rightward in an arithmetic series manner at every one winding time, and stepwisely moved to the position of an equation II to the final winding radius R of a wound core 1. In other words, the punch 6 is moved in the size calculated by the above calculation by a cam. |
