Dual-acting hydraulic device making it possible to pivot a round bale on a three-point support, in order to unroll it. The device which forms the subject of the invention solves the problem of transporting and unrolling round bales of straw or of hay. The round bale, gripped at its centre by a tooth 1, pivots through 90 DEG by virtue of a dual-acting jack 3 and is thus placed on its round part, in the longitudinal axis of the tractor.
