PURPOSE:To provide a composition giving a molded article having excellent impact resistance and surface gloss, by compounding a specific propylene-ethylene block copolymer with a specific ethylene polymer. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition is prepared by compounding (A) a propylene-ethylene block copolymer having an ethylene content of 4-15wt%, preferably 6-14wt%, melt flow index of 0.2-20g/10min, and the ratio of absorbances (I735/I720) (melt IR absorption spectrum at 140 deg.C measured at 720cm<-1> and 735cm<-1>) of 0.40-0.70, preferably 0.45-0.65 with (B) an ethylene polymer having a density of >=0.935g/cm<3>, preferably 0.940-0.965g/cm<3> and a melt index of 0.2- 10g/10min. The amount of the component (B) is 3-20wt%, especially 5-25wt%, based on the whole composition. A further uniform composition can be obtained by dry-blending both components, and kneading the resultant mixture in molten state.
