PURPOSE:To miniaturize the device by setting a reading optical path for transmission tying a reading section and a CCD which are bent around a roll recording paper for receiving to reduce the distance between the reading section and the CCD while ensuring the prescribed optical length. CONSTITUTION:A receiving system is arranged on a flat section 16 continuous to a mounting section on which the roll recording paper 14 is mounted. That is, a platen roller 20 and a guide plate 21 are provided and a lens holder 33 is fitted. Lenses 34, 35 and a CCD36 are fitted to the lens holder 33 together with a PC plate 37 to form a lens block 38. On the other hand, an original carrying system carrying an original 39 from the upper tilt to the lower direction is arranged at this side of the mounting section 15. Then, a lamp 48 lighting a reading section 47 is fitted to a case 13, the 1st mirror 49, the 2nd mirror 50 and the 3rd mirror 53 receiving the reflected light from the original 39 are provided and a reading optical path 55 having a prescribed length tying the reading section 47 and the CCD36 is bent at the vicinity at the surrounding of mounting section 15. |
