PURPOSE:To improve driving stability and durability by specifying a position of arrangement for a bead reinforcing layer provided in a bead part of the captioned tire and forming said layer through burying a thermally uncontractile cord in predetermined rubber at a predetermined density. CONSTITUTION:A radial tire, equipped with a layer 4 of carcass between a pair of left and right bead parts 11 at a cord angle 70 deg.-90 deg. with respect to the circumferential direction of a tire and also with the plural number of layers 5 of belt on the layer 4 of carcass in a tread part 3, is also provided, adjacently to a layer 41 of carcass positioned inside a bead filler 6, with a layer 7 reinforcing the bead part. One end 7a of said reinforcement layer 7 is positioned within less than 1/3 of the height SH of section of the tire and more than the height RH of a rim flange R, while the other end 7b is positioned below said height RH. Further, the reinforcement layer 7 is formed by arranging a thermally uncontractile cord 71 in rubber 72 with more than 30kg/cm<2> of 100% modulus at density of 20-60 pieces per 5cm. |
