PURPOSE:To easily recover a distillation residue within a short time, by a method wherein distillative separation is performed in such a state that an org. pack is preliminarily applied to the evaporation dish of a distiller for distillative separation and, after the completion thereof, said pack is peeled off the evaporation pan. CONSTITUTION:Freon 22 of a new liquid tank 10 is supplied to a decontamination machine 16 by a pump 18 to perform the decontamination of an object 24 to be treated such as contaminated parts and thereafter returned to the new liquid tank 10. When Freon 22 in the new liquid tank 10 reaches a predetermined contamination level or more, it is sent to a distillation tank 14 by a pump 20 to be regenerated therein. In this case, an org. pack is preliminarily applied to the surface of an evaporation pan 26 and Freon 22A stored in the evaporation pan 26 is heated to 47 deg.C being the evaporation temp. of Freon by a heater 28. The evaporated Freon is cooled in a condenser 21 and recovered in the new liquid tank 10. The distillation residue is recovered by peeling the pack off the evaporation pan.
