A sealing device for sealing the joints between the frame and the leaf or wing of doors and windows is designed in two pieces and consists of a metal profile rail which can be fastened on the frame and of a sealing profile made of elastic material which is equipped with a sealing lip for joint sealing and with a second sealing lip for covering a gap between the metal profile rail and the supporting frame as well as also for covering the fastening means.
