PURPOSE:To stabilize a speed control system by directly coupling a small-sized motor with a speed detector and controlling the speed of revolution of the small-sized motor and a drive motor on the basis of a signal from the speed detector. CONSTITUTION:Upper and lower pressure rolls 3 are driven through a speed reducer 2 by a drive motor 1. A speed detector 5 is mounted where reverse to the speed reducer 2 of a shaft for the drive motor 1 through a coupling 4. The speed detector 5 takes a double shaft type, and a small-sized motor 7 is coupled directly and fitted to a shaft on the side reverse to the coupling 4. The speed of revolution of the drive motor 1 is detected by the speed detector 5, and compared with a set point VR and a deviation is inputted to a control system, and a control signal is outputted to the drive motor 1 and the small- sized motor 1 from the control system. Accordingly, the system can be stabilized even when the gains of a speed control system are increased. |
