PURPOSE:To enable the execution of a time display with a simple operation by providing a fundamental time counting body and an added time counting body. CONSTITUTION:A reference signal source 2 is so arranged to enable the selection of time display digits for hour, minute, second or the like by the operation of external switches 24-28 while a fundamental time counting body for displaying 20 at least one digit of time display digits selected and a time counting means 46 in such a manner as to be connectable in series therebetween. An added time counting body is also provided to enable the display of at least one digit of any time display digits. Then, the time display digit of the fundamental time counting body is determined by the switch operation and the added time counting body displays 52 the contents of counting time of the time counting means 46 driven by a time counting signal CI from the fundamental time counting body. |
