PURPOSE:To make it possible to doubly enhance display accuracy and to doubly enlarge a display range, by performing acceleration speed display with respect to a bar graph display part in which a plurality of display segments are parallelly arranged from a first side end toward a second side end while performing deceleration speed display in the opposite direction. CONSTITUTION:The rotation detecting signal A supplied from a rotation sensor not shown in the drawing for detecting the rotation of a wheel is shaped by a wave form shaping circuit 2 to be outputted as a rectangular wave signal B. CPU 3 calculates the difference of adjacent pulse intervals of the rectangular wave signal B supplied to an input board IN and, when the polarity to the difference value is positive, judges said signal B as acceleration and, when negative, judges as deceleration,. In acceleration, treatment, such that an output port P1 is set to a lower figure (LSB) and output signals O1-On are continuously generated toward the output port Pn of an upper figure until reaching a position corresponding to the difference value, is performed. A display drive circuit 4 drives and displays display segments 51-5n to a display part 5 corresponding to the output signals O1-On of CPU 3.
