Set of trays for filing documents flat. The set, comprising a number of trays 1a-1d designed in normal use to be placed on top of each other in a stack is characterised in that each tray comprises a bottom 2, a front wall 3, two side walls 5, 6 and a rear wall 4, the four walls being formed so that the trays can nest in each other to form a stack, with at least those trays other than the bottommost tray 1a having their rear wall 4 sharply angled upwards and outwards from the bottom 2 so that a tray other than the topmost tray 1d of the pile can be withdrawn from the pile by tilting up this tray along with those resting on top of it, by raising its front part clear of the front part of the tray immediately below it and sliding it forwards, whilst simultaneously restraining the trays lying above it. <IMAGE>
