The invention relates to a rolling-contact bearing comprising an inner part (1), an outer race (2) and rolling elements (3) rolling between these and furthermore comprising a ring (5) which surrounds the outer circumferential surface (4) of the outer race (2), is composed of a polymeric material and is provided on at least one side with an annular flange (6) which points radially inwards and in the bore (8) of which a sealing element (7) resting against the inner part (1) or a component connected to the latter is provided. To increase the durability of the seal and to prevent the loss of any separate sealing rings which may present due to flexural stressing of the ring (5), the flange (6) is made radially flexible by a reduction (9) in cross-section radially to the outside of the sealing element (7). <IMAGE>
