<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the energizing to a heater by on-off action from occurring too frequently by a method wherein a temperature regulating means for day-time power application controls by detecting the hot water storage tank temperature at the location higher than the location, at which a temperature regulating means for midnight power application is arranged. CONSTITUTION:A midnight power heater 4 is connected through a thermostat 6 acting as a temperature regulating means for midnight power application and a time switch 8, which limits energizing hours, to the power supply. A day-time power heater 5 is connected through a thermostat 7, which is arranged at the location higher than the thermostat 6 and acts as a temperature regulating means for day-time power application, to the power supply. Accordingly, even when the thermostat 6 is put into actuation due to the lowering of the temperature at the lower part within the hot water storage tank by supplying hot water through a hot water delivery pipe 3 and feeding cold water through a feed water pipe 2, the thermostat 7 retains its action until the fed water reaches the location of the thermostat 7, the location of the thermostat 7 being higher than that of the thermostat 6. Consequently, the day-time power heater 5 is prevented from being put into action as frequency as every hot water supply operation.</p> |
