PURPOSE:To improve the noise shielding property of the compressor by a method wherein high pressure gas, discharged out of a discharging port, is injected into the chamber of silencer covered by a thick outer peripheral rib and a discharging cover. CONSTITUTION:The high pressure gas, compressed by the rotation of a roll 7, is dischrged discontinuously from the discharging port of a sub bearing 20 accompanying with considerable sound of impact. Noise, generated upon the discharging, is injected into the chamber 16 of silencer, surrounded by the outer peripheral rib 20a and covered by the discharging cover 22. Said rib 20a and the cover 22 may be thickened, and therefore, their rigidity is high and weight is heavy, accordingly, they are not vibrated readily and the noise shielding performance may be improved remarkably. |
