An adjustable sofa having a frame (1) and having an insert consisting of at least two insert parts (3, 4) which are connected to one another in an articulated manner by a swivel axle (2) and can be fixed in two or more positions in relation to the frame (1), one (3) of the insert parts (3, 4) being mounted in or on the frame (1) by means of bearing journals (15), and the swivel axle (2) being arranged freely movably in relation to the frame (1), at least one adjusting lever (14) being provided for adjusting the insert parts (3, 4), which adjusting lever is firmly connected to the swivel axle (2) and has a sliding surface (19) which can be brought into contact with a slide path (20), which is firmly connected to the frame (1), and can be adjusted along said slide path. <IMAGE>
