PURPOSE:To make a separate bulb type fluorescent lamp usable without misapplying it to the existing incandescent lamp stand, by installing both of a first cord connecting a socket to a lighting circuit electrically and a second cord installing a plug in a tip end used for conducting to the lighting circuit. CONSTITUTION:A lighting apparatus is constituted of a screw thread part 19 in the same diameter as a bulb socket, an adapter 17 being electrically insulated from this screw thread part 19 and provided with a socket 15 different in diameter, a lighting circuit unit 20 attached to the end of a cord 18 taken out to the outside of the adapter 17 from the socket 15 and a plug 21. The lighting circuit unit 20 is connected to the side of the plug 21 via a lead wire 18 and since it is undetachable in structure, there is quite no possibility of causing such an accident as burning out a discharge tube due to direct connection of a plug receptacle to the discharge tube without the lighting circuit at home at large. A plug 12 provided with a desk stand 10 is not electrically connected to a discharge tube 4 so that if the plug is inset in the plug receptacle by mistake, there is no hindrance at all. |
