PURPOSE:To maintain constant ratio between the deceleration and booster output by communicating the second pressure variation chamber in a tandem booster with one of high and low pressure sources or blocking from both of them in accordance with the deceleration of vehicle. CONSTITUTION:A differential pressure sensor 35 is placed between second negative pressure chamber 20 and first pressure variation chamber 22 in a tandem booster 12. The second pressure variation chamber 23 is coupled to second pressure variation chamber control valve 43 coupled to high pressure source and negative pressure source. While the differential pressure sensor 35 and the solenoid 45 of control valve 43 are connected to a control circuit 51. Based on input signal from said sensor 35 and a deceleration sensor 50, the control circuit 51 will feed an output signal to a control valve 43 to communicate the second pressure variation chamber 23 with only one of high pressure source or negative pressure source or to block both of them. Consequently constant ratio can be maintained between the output of booster 12 and the deceleration of rolling stock. |
