PURPOSE:To properly supply water to turf, etc., by a method in which a water- impermeable sheet is laid on the subgrade excavated, a partition plate is erectly provided along a contour line, a water supplier is set on the lower side of the partition plate, and a water collector is set on the higher side of the partition plate. CONSTITUTION:In golf courses, etc., excavation is made by a depth D from the ground surface or the green face, and the subgrade B is graded. Plural partition plates 1 are erectly set in a stiered form along a contour line on the subgrade B, and a water-impermeable sheet 2 is laid on the whole surface of the subgrade B. A water supply tube 6 is set on the sheet 2 on the lower side of each partition plate 1, and a water collecting tube 3 is set on the sheet 2 on the higher side of each partition plate 1. Sand 8 as soil delivered is laid on the subgrade B and surface soil 9 for vegetation is provided on the sand 8. When water is supplied from the water supply tube 6, water permeates into the surface soil 9, and excessive water is collected in the water collecting tube 3. The decay of roots of turf and occurrence of disease and vermin can thus be prevented. |
