PURPOSE:To make it possible to observe with sight the density of water stream readily, by making a stream to be observed by scattered reflected light from bubbles in the reproduced water stream, picking up the scattered reflected light, processing a luminance signal by a specified method, and displaying the result by colors. CONSTITUTION:A large number of bubbles 4 are included in a water stream, which is sent by pressure, by a deairing phenomenon based on the pressure reduction caused by an orifice part 9 of a fluid feeding unit 2. The water stream from the unit 2 is supplied through a nozzle 7, and a model water stream of a burner nozzle, wherein the bubbles and fuel is formed, in a water tank 1. Light and shade of the water stream model can be observed by the scattered light from the bubbles 4 caused by the light emitted from a slit light source 3. The image of the scattered light is picked up by a TV camera 21, and a luminance signal 22 corresponding to the bubble density in response to the water stream density is obtained. The signal is converted into R, G, and B signals at the same level by a false coloring circuit 24. The signals are cut off at different levels for every color and a display device 25 is driven. Then color display, which is changed in correspondence with the density of the water stream, is performed. Thus, the density of the water stream model can be readily observed. |
