PURPOSE:To prevent the imbalance of left- and right-handed operations by providing an excavator, a steering device, an engine, a slewing base, a slewing device and a slewing motor, arranged in a straight line on a running device and the slewing base. CONSTITUTION:A slewing device 20 is provided at the center of the clawler track 2 of an excavator, e.g., slewing type backhoe, etc., and a machine frame 1 is provided in a turnable manner on the upper part of the slewing device 20. The machine frame 1 is provided with a steering cabin 22 positioned above the slewing device 20, an engine 21 positioned right back of the steering cabin 22, and an excavator 4 attached rotatably to the frontal center of the steering cabin 22. The excavator 4, the steering cabin 22, the engine 21, the slewing device 20, and the motor 19 for slewing are arranged in a straight line. |
