The invention relates to a weighbridge having a base part (2), a bridge (1) for receiving a weight and weight-sensing device which includes lever (4, 5, 7, 8). Near the end of each lever and near one edge (3) provided on the base part is a floating support device (12) for forming a knife-edge bearing for the levers, the floating support device being anchored on the underside of the bridge, but having freedom of movement for "floating", or, in other words, being capable of recording various (small) inclination movements (tilts) of the bridge (1) in relation to the base part during use, so that a uniform pressure is always exerted on the levers and accurate weighing becomes possible. <IMAGE> |
