PURPOSE:To prevent water leakage by receiving a mounting surface on a die surface formed to a hollow curved surface and pressing the same with a punch disposed with many projections. CONSTITUTION:When a work W is set in a prescribed position of a die D', the periphery in a mounting part 1 is supported by a hollow curved surface D'a and therefore the inner part is kept afloat. A punch P' descends and the projections at the top end face thereof come into press-contact with the back 1b of the part 1 thereby pressing the mounting surface 1a of the part 1 to the surface D'a and further biting the same to the back and crushing the same. The pressure in the descending direction exerted on the projections corrects the strain, wrinkle, irregular camber, etc. generated during the forming stage and adheres tightly the surface 1a to the surface D'a, thereby producing desired smooth surface accuracy and forming the mounting surface into the state having a required camber. |
