PURPOSE:To make a band for fixing a convergence magnet unnecessary while making it possible to shorten so much the length of the neck part of a cathode- ray tube in order to miniaturize it by making the convergence magnet to be held in the rear of a deflection yoke. CONSTITUTION:A convergence magnet 12 is held in the holding part 13 at the back of a deflection yoke 10 while being free-rotatably fitted thereto. The convergence magnet 12 is molded of magnet-mixed plastics while forming roulettes 14 and 15 on the respective outer peripheries of each set of double-pole, quadripole and sexapole magnets 12a and 12b. In case of regulation, the regulation is performed by using a regulating rod provided with a gear on its tip and fitting to said roulettes 14 and 15. Further, when turning the regulating rod 16 along the outer periphery of the magnet 12, the magnets 12a and 12b rotate together while changing the direction of a belt. As a result, the former projection part becomes unnecessary while the other circuit parts can be arranged up to the vicinity of the outer periphery of the magnet. |
