PURPOSE:To provide a titled jig which is easily opened and closed and permits safe and efficient attachment and detachment of temporary member by forming semicircular frame plates mounted with attachments into a ring shape, and constituting the same in such a way that one of the frame plates can turn in a horizontal direction around the connecting shaft of the frame plates. CONSTITUTION:Approximately semicircular frame plates 6a, 6b mounted, via supporting members 15a, 15g and reinforcing members 16a, 16b, with attachments 17a, 17b which support a temporary member Sp to be welded are butted in a parting line C to form a circular ring 3 and are freely rotatably placed on a pair of right and left rolls 2, 2. Both frame plates 6a, 6b are connected by means of a connecting shaft 7 via a receiving plate 8 and a friction plate 9 fixed respectively thereto at one end and by means of a latching device 19 at the other end. The opening and closing of the plate 6a are accomplished by removing the wedge 23 and connecting pin 21 of the device 19, unlocking a supporting member 15a from a locking piece 24 attached to the plate 6b, and turning the plate 6a in the direction in the horizontal plane inclusive of the shaft 7. |
