PURPOSE:To improve the durability and reliability of a heat exchanger by a method wherein paint, as the binder of which inorganic polymer is employed and with which organic titanium compound is mixed, is applied onto the surface of the heat exchanger. CONSTITUTION:Paint film is formed onto the surface of a heat exchanger 1 by applying with paint, as the binder of which inorganic polymer is employed and with which organic titanium compound is mixed. In this case, especially when SiC polymer is employed as the inorganic polymer, dense paint film layer with excellent heat resistance, adherence, acid resistance and corrosion resistance can be formed, resulting in enabling to improve the durability and reliability of the heat exchanger 1. |
