PURPOSE:To improve the rectifying capacity by dividing interpoles into plural number and differentiating the rectifying magnetic flux forming conditions of the divided interpoles. CONSTITUTION:An auxiliary core and auxiliary coils are axially divided, and the first divided auxiliary pole 10 having the first divided auxiliary pole core 8 and the first divided auxiliary coil 9 and the second divided interpole 13 having the second divided auxiliary pole core 11 and the second divided auxiliary pole coil 12 are formed. The both coils 9, 12 are connected in series with an armature coil 6. The poles 8, 11 are arranged so that the center lines thereof coincide. The rectifying magnetic flux forming conditions of the poles 10, 13 are differentiated, and the rectifying magnetic flux is adequately distributed to produce a necessary rectifying voltage to cancel the reactance voltage over the entire duration of the rectifying period. |
