PURPOSE:To obtain highly accurate grinding size and to grind many parts at a single operation by providing plural core unit working and core fitting members with height adjusting functions respectively to allow the positions of the cores to be adjusted. CONSTITUTION:A height adjusting screw 17 is threadedly engaged with an adjusting screw inserting hole 14 and the head of the screw 17 is abutted to the inwall 16a of a slit 16 through the slit 16. Thus, an upper core holding part 13 can be moved vertically by tightening and loosening the height adjusting screw 17. At first, a core 18 is put on a prescribed position of a core fitting member 12 fixed on the external circumference of a work holder 11 and temporally fixed with a bonding agent. Then, the position of each core 18 is adjusted so as to have a fixed distance from the spherical center of the work holder 11 by turning the height adjusting screw 17 of each core fitting member 12. After determining the positions of all the cores, the surfaces of the cores are ground by a grinding member having a grinding spherical surface with a prescribed size allowed to cover the work holder 11. |
